My Story

Growing up, I was painfully shy. I was a selective mute as a child and refused to speak to anyone but my close friend and my sister throughout elementary school. It wasn’t until a kind teacher created a safe space for me to be heard did I start opening up and speaking. I know what isolation and hiding who you are and what you have to say feels like.

Over the past few years, I’ve challenged myself to come out of my shell and be seen and heard by others. I know what I have to say is important. And I know everyone has a unique set of life experiences and gifts that need to be shared with the world.

This platform allows for all perspectives, ideas, and voices in the healthcare industry to be heard so that we can start building a new system centered on community and collaboration.
